PaperTech

Tactile minimalism for a soft future.

A design language combining matte paper materiality, sharp origami geometry, muted blue and orange accents, and restrained sci-fi atmosphere.

The system

What it is.

PaperTech is built around the tactile pleasure of premium paper. Deep gray surfaces, quiet color, crisp folds, and calm lighting make digital interfaces feel physically present without becoming ornamental.

The problem

The constraint worth solving.

PaperTech explores a middle ground between sterile flat minimalism and highly decorated futuristic UI: minimal interfaces with material presence and soft physicality.

What Resist Design delivered
  • Matte construction-paper and cardstock material rules.
  • A restrained gray palette with #0095e3 blue and #ff9b00 orange accents.
  • Parcels as angular folded containers and Morsels as small interactive shards.
  • Strict sharp geometry with no rounded corners and restrained ambient lighting.

What this demonstrates
  • A recognizable visual language that scales from interface surfaces to 3D studies.
  • The visual foundation now used by the Resist Design website.
