PSVG

From Illustrator SVG to live application structure.

A visual compiler that converted structured SVG artwork into interactive AngularJS application templates while preserving designer-authored hierarchy.

The system

What it is.

PSVG treated the design file as executable source material. Designers could structure and label artwork in Illustrator, then compile it into application-ready HTML and directives.

The problem

The constraint worth solving.

Traditional design handoff throws away much of the structure created by the designer. PSVG carried layout, naming, attributes, and directives directly into implementation.

What Resist Design delivered
  • SVG-to-HTML compilation for applications and components.
  • Designer-authored tags and attributes attached to Illustrator layers and objects.
  • Compile-time directives, live preview, API relay, mock data, deployment, and generated documentation.
What this demonstrates
  • A working proof that visual structure can survive the trip from design tool to executable UI.
  • A foundation for later Resist Design work around executable design systems.
